Vendor checklist
PI Vendor Evaluation Checklist
Before buying PI or MVA lead volume, compare the vendor's source process, screening depth, routing controls, replacement rules, reporting, and intake feedback loop.
Avoid vague offers
Ask for written rules
If the billable definition is unclear, the campaign will be hard to manage.
What to ask any PI lead vendor
Source and consent
- Where does the traffic come from?
- Is the lead exclusive, shared, or transferred live?
- What consent language is collected?
- Can source, timestamp, and call path be reviewed?
Screening
- What disqualifies a lead?
- Are injury, treatment, representation, and prior rejection checked?
- Can states, cities, case types, and caps be controlled?
- Are written billable rules documented before launch?
Reporting
- Can the firm track answer rate, consults, and signed cases?
- How are disputes reviewed?
- What happens after a no-fit transfer?
- How quickly can filters be changed?
Compare vendors against exclusive vs shared PI leads, live transfers vs form leads, and cost per signed case.
